Horse Racing Jockeys
Why are trainers and jockeys hit the horse with an electric wand before the competition?

It is cruel and unnecessary?

Without knowing exactly what you've seen or heard, I will try to answer. I suspect that you have seen a crew member of the door using a broom to hanlde push a horse to the gate, or excite the animals react to a sudden "wake" with the slap stick rider. Using some kind of electrical apparatus, which never would. I think that you are referring to a small electrical appliance in most knkown Industry Competition as a "machine". It is not a bar or something. These things are prohibited in all racetracks in North America that I know. No frobidden only in racing, can not be used in racing circuits to training, either. Not much sense to use something like this before a career. A trainer or rider would be absurd to shake a horse before the race starts. The only thing I've seen in my life was the length and breadth of a credit card and about half as thick a deck of cards. That was twenty years ago, so I'm sure larcenious riders have used modern technology to make them smaller for now. The idea seems to be hitting the horse with a machine during a race when the runner disastrous think you need a quick burst of speed to improve their position. It is only effective for a renaissance thirty yards. Understand that the unit was brought close to the fist-jockey and the sleeve presses the neck of the horse. It is always a question of how the horse reacted to the machine, unscrupulious advised riders to use the machine in a horse in training (do not confuse to warm up before the race) before attempting a career. Before, during and after the race there are a lot of officials observing the action, so it is difficult to keep these things hidden and efficiently at the same time. If an administrator of the race (usually a retired coach, or sometimes a rider removed) suspects anything that the rider was stripped. If the machine is, the pilot will be banned from racing not only track where he was captured, but in general this state and any other state has the authority racing reciprocity agreements. Inelligible also working as a coach. That said, we can assume that the costs be trapped riders are required to maintain the deception that way? Unfortunately, no. The events often attract dollars that involve the element criminal, but security measures are generally effective for keeping theft. I have met many riders over the years officials have been before - after winning a race nobody thought they had a prayer of winning - and they had to "show all" to prove his innocence. They know that if " connect horse "too often are forced to get caught. A seasoned rider not that suddenly begins to win more than their share of time, sooner or later, find race officials through its short and Curls. Oh, I saw the machine for twenty years ... I applied to freight my side when I did not expect. I jumped around six feet. I suppose I had asked a question about these things too. The jockey that "educated" me reitred and now works outside the industry. The use machines is far from the most cruel that happens in racing. Although almost all race horses are treated better than most household pets, some are driven to competition before they are mature enough, not fully recovered from injury, or a proficiency level above his ability. animals are removed from Fine mounting, as in pastures or places to sleep because your trainers - or more likely the owners - not going to be prudent enough to keep their horses in the stable instead of the track. Want to see a good piece of fiction about the cruelty of horse racing? Regarding "for fun" for Dick Francis.
