Beginners Poker Online

So I read "Online Ace" by Fischman, and have some questions?

Firstly, I am quite a beginner, and I was following guidelines established for sit and go poker. However, I am unsure how to play the "end game" right. I can survive quite well, four attempts I called (again) 2, 3, 4 and 5, so I'm just stands above the pair. The problem is that I have no idea how to bet during confrontations. I still go "all out "and either go all-in or fold. The times I've finished 2nd and 3rd, you can always build huge chip leads (the time it finished 2nd in reality was about 10 times more it did), but I finally went all continuing to enter into a strong hand.
